Parental Question

Quick Question:

Do you think that talking on the phone to your parents (either dad or mom) daily is:
1. Normal....you do this too, so what's wrong with it
2. Too Much....maybe should tone it down to once a week
3. Excessive.....is weird and you don't understand why someone would do this

Be honest....just tell me what YOU think!

More Ranch Please!!!!

Lil All Stars

Breanna is playing soccer on Saturday mornings. Auntie Dede hooked us up with a team of 3 and 4 years olds that she is co-coaching. Breanna LOVES it. I'll have to get a pic of her tomorrow in her t-shirt she got last week. She was thrilled b/c it has her name on the back and a #3 (she swears it's because she's 3 years old).

Wahoo for fun!

$53.55

Breanna and I had another Bake Sale to raise money for the "Light the Night Walk" that was on September 30th.

We brought brownies and cookies to Deanne and Monica's floors at work.

On Deanne's floor she sent out an email telling everyone that there were goodies for sale and that all the donations would go towards Light the Night - Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
On Monica's floor Breanna went selling "door to door" (from cubicle to cubicle) with Auntie's help and sold out all of her brownies and cookies. (we did that to 3 people on De's floor too).
Grand total : $53.55!!!!!!!
I never thought a bake sale would bring in so much, but I was proud that we were able to contribute that much from the bake sale! Thanks Auntie Dede and Auntie Monica for all your help!
PS- 3 year olds sell really well even if they say NOTHING :) Their cuteness helps!

(Breanna turning in her earnings at Light the Night).

Light the Night - Part 1

Light the Night was AWESOME! What a cool event. Survivors got white t-shirts and white balloons, people who had raised at least $100 got red t-shirts and red balloons.

There was music, booths with information and giveaways. TONS of restaurants came and donated food to all the people who had raised money. There was even "The Melting Pot", Rubios, Hooters, Dominos, Bakeries, Wings, Sub sandwiches, Bagels, Snacks, Etc...... All donated.

There were bounce houses and face painting.

At 7PM the walk started around Washington Park in Denver. The sidewalk was lit forever with the mass of people with lit balloons. As we started the walk there were lit candles on the ground with names of people who did not survive.

Dad was able to sign the survivor banner.

It was awesome! Can't wait for next year!
