The Countdown

The countdown is on.  Less then 5 weeks til baby's due date.  I just added something for the to do list, pack my hospital bag and one for the kiddos for their stay at Grammy and Grampy's while we are at the hospital.

At 35 weeks:

-Feeling good, yet heavy
-Not exhausted, but want to sit/lay a lot b/c it makes me tired to do a lot
-Have been nesting during tons of this pregnancy.  We have gotten a lot of little odds and ends jobs done around the house b/c of this.
-I have been washing the baseboards, the doors, the floors, the cabinets, the walls.......not jobs I normally do (man we have kids with grimy hands!)

-Have an ultrasound on Monday last one til she comes....I'm excited to see how big they estimate her size :)
-My feet swell a tiny bit when standing for a long time.
-The past 4 days have been WONDERFUL, we had a break from the heat and it's been cool and cloudy. I've loved every minute of it.
-My belly feels today like it stretching and there's no more skin to stretch.
-She feels very big in the belly, no space for her or me!

This is our last baby so it would be nice if I could enjoy this more. I'm honestly more excited to have her and be done being pregnant.  But, I do LOOOOOOOOVE the sleep I'm getting right now, that's the only thing I don't want to change!!!! Dreading that change.

Ethan told me the other day he just wants to cut open my belly and take his sister out so he can see her.  He's excited for her and thinks she'll be as big as his hand.

Breanna is very excited for a little sister and I told her i would let her hold the baby as long as she wants, so we'll see what happens.  Whenever we have a baby around that is someone else's baby there is always a short time limit for her to hold the baby....so she's excited for this.

Luke is clueless and will have his world rocked when baby girl comes home and doesn't leave.  Thankfully he's sleeping great at night (finally) and will hopefully keep that up when she comes home.  He has a stuffed animal that he calls baby and he tried to feed it a bottle the other day, so he's grasping some things.

Here's a pic my sister took of me.  I don't want to post it on facebook b/c I look at it and think that's not me, I don't look that huge, but here it is for the record.  That was at 33 weeks.

Favorite restaurant (not mine)

My kids beg to go to Mcdonald's.  That is one of their favorite places to play and for food.  I avoid it as much as possible, but this day I gave in and let them play, play, play!  The main reason I don't like it is no matter what they always want food.  I have tried feeding them right beforehand, but the smell of the food makes them "starving" when we get there.  Now, I don't give in to them every time.....but days like this one I treated them to lunch at their favorite restaurant (gag!)

Oh happy day! I love that Luke can play with his siblings in the play area without mommy and does just fine! I get to just sit back and relax and let them run wild :)

Disney On Ice

In December Grampy took the girl cousins (Breanna and Amari) and myself to Disney on Ice : Dare to Dream. It was lots of fun. It was at the Pepsi Center in Denver (where the Denver Nuggets play) so we got to check that out and some of the fun things they had beforehand.

Breanna was quite intrigued with the whole thing. Her favorite was Tangled. Mine too. They had Princess and the Frog, Cinderella and Tangled.

It was so cute having just these two girls together doing something just for them :)

Yes, I am a Mombie

Expecting #4

I didn't come up with a clever way to announce it....so here it is:

Rob and I thought our lives were a little too quiet...a little too calm...a little too simple and far too easy....so to spice things up we are having another baby! I am 19 weeks along. Any gender guesses would be appreciated before we find out on Tuesday :)

Wishing he were bigger......

I found a toddler stool and set it up so Luke can watch the kiddos play outside in the snow.  I'm not up for playing out there with him.  He falls over every 2 seconds, gets snow on him and then cries.  That is after it takes 15 minutes to get him all bundled up.  Until he gets bigger he has a cozy spot indoors to see the fun.  He actually likes it and bangs on the window and laughs at his siblings as they throw snowballs at the windows.

My boys

I love these guys.  Yes they exhaust me, frustrate me, make me want to pull out my hair.  But........they're pretty great too :)

Nassau - Atlantis

On the 3rd day we stopped in Nassau and visited Atlantis resort.  It was amazing.  Rob and I ran around like kids the entire day.  We ate a huge breakfast on the ship and then packed oranges and muffins and didn't eat til we got back right before the ship mandated time to leave (I think 5:30 or so).

We rode the lazy river, waterslide after waterslide, played in the pools, swam in the lagoon, snorkeled for fish and found sea shells!  We actually found tons and tons of conch shells (huge) which we ended up being able to bring one back to the ship (b/c it didn't have a live conch inside anymore).

It was so much fun. It was expensive, but worth every penny. They had a shark waterslide Rob did (I was too scared b/c it was a huge drop) and the atlantis underwater ruins, aquariums with everything imaginable.

I had an awesome digital underwater camera (thanks michelle!) so I was able to take pics while snorkeling - pretty hazy, and while riding the waterslides and lazy river :)

Oh my, just looking at these pics make me miss paradise!
