Contributing member of the family

Breanna Douglas has decided, after long talks with her parents, that college is the way to go. Since she is 12 weeks old now, she had been asked by her parents to become a contributing member of the family.

"After one day of bracelet making, I decided this is just not for me," commented Breanna, "My hands started hurting and I kept falling behind on my quota."

After this experience she spent a few days thinking about what she wanted out of life. She decided to follow in her parents footsteps and pursue higher education.

"College is really for me. I'm really stressed about this paper that is due on Tuesday, but I know that I chose the right path," stated Breanna, "I just couldn't see myself making bracelets or blowing bubbles for a living, I need better skills."

Breanna's parents are pleased with her decision and are happy that she has finally decided to help benefit the Douglas family.

First comes love.....

Rob and Brooke started dating in 2004. Rob wanted to go out on Valentine's day on a triple date with his friends who already had girlfriends...so he asked out Brooke. Brooke agreed thinking that he seemed like a nice guy!

The date was great, a long date including surfing, a boat ride in Waikiki, dinner and dessert.

Then comes marriage.....

Then comes a baby in the baby carriage

Breanna Douglas was born into our family January 28, 2007. She was a whopping 8 lbs. 4 oz. after the nurse and the doctor estimated 6 1/2 to 7 lbs.

She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was 20 inches long and came out with a FULL head of hair!

She is now 12 weeks old and loving life. Rob and Brooke have learned MANY things since having a baby. She is teaching us things everyday, especially about being good parents.
