pacifier and bottle dilemma

advice from anyone, whether your a mom or not, would be greatly appreciated. breanna still uses her pacifier on occasion, mostly only at nap and bedtime. she also drinks a bottle of milk in the morning, naptime and bedtime. when did you get rid of the bottle and pacifier (if you used them)? also, how did you do it? cold turkey or ease them off of it?

Summertime Fun

Here's some pics of some of the things Breanna has been doing around the house for fun in the summer.

She LOVES playing outside and we are trying to soak up as much sun as possible during the sunny months here. She loves the two neighbor boys who she plays with every day, they run around outside getting into trouble and having fun with one another. They like to play in the car, listening to music and dancing.

I watch another little guy during the day, Zack, and Breanna loves treating him like her little brother. She bosses him around and tells him what he can and cannot do ALL DAY LONG :) She has such a strong personality already, it's amazing and scary at the same time. She likes to push him around in the stroller, since she's SOOOO much older ;)

We have a tiny baby pool so we invite other babies over for a "pool party". Luckily they all fit in the pool. The baby pool is one of her favorite outdoor activities right now.

Her newest accomplishment is blowing bubbles! I'm so proud of her, she tried REALLY REALLY hard and kept blowing and blowing and blowing with no results for quite awhile and just recently she actually blows bubbles when she tries...it's awesome.

trip to colorado

we went home to colorado last week and had a blast. my sister michelle took TONS of pics, so i'm waiting on them being uploaded so that i can post some. until then here are some pics of breanna on a "hot" day in olympia, wa. we went to the water fountain downtown and she watched the kids play in the water.

she wasn't brave enough to run through it herself, but she had tons of fun watching. i wasn't brave enough either. by "hot" weather i mean it was maybe 70 degrees at the most, but it was sunny which we were very excited about.

we had tons of fun in colorado, breanna loved her grandparents and cousins and the weather. it was sunny and hot and wonderful. we took her to her 1st movie, went swimming, went to a fountain, visited both sets of grandparents, had a bbq/pool party at my sisters house, shopping, out to eat, etc. breanna was quite the trooper, she stayed up late, napped in the car on the go and was a happy girl for the majority of the trip, i couldn't have asked for anything more :)
