Yeah!!!

(I like this picture b/c it's pretty much how life is around here lately, Breanna full of love and smothering her little brother and Ethan looking quite scared about what she's going to do next :)

We are on day 3 of potty training Breanna and today was her breakthru day!!!!!!

4 tinkles in the toilet and 1 poo!!! (sorry if this is too much info :) Only one accident, what a great day!

I'm SOOOOOO excited. Wish me luck that tomorrow is just as successful. I can't wait to be done changing her diapers.

It's kind of like the Pavlov's Dog experiment here at my house. I set the kitchen timer for every 45 minutes and as soon as it beeps I would say, "Breanna let's go, go go to the bathroom, come on, let's run!!" But, by the end of the day today as soon as the timer went off she ran, by herself, took off her clothes and undies and got on the toilet all by herself!!!!! Wahoo!

*Just to let you know the first 2 days were miserable with tons of messes and I thought I was doomed to another failed attempt at potty training (I tried right when she turned 2 years old and I went 7 days before I quit b/c she had only gone in the toilet once in 7 days and I had to clean up all the rest in "accidents" all over the house!)

Yeah Breanna! Keep up the great work and being such a big girl.

Ethan 2 months

Okay, so he really is actually close to 3 months, but we just got him to the Dr. yesterday for his 2 month check up. I let Rob take him (Thank you Rob :) because he offered and I just hate the shots, but Ethan was a champ and did great! I guess he only cried for about 5 seconds and then was good to go.

Weight: 12 lbs. 6 oz. = 75th percentile

Height: 24 inches = 75th percentile

Head: 40 cm =50th percentile

About him:

*He is a HAPPY baby, he just smiles all the time and loves to coo at people and any object.

*He has just discovered his voice and likes to make "talking" noises

*He also just discovered his hands taste really good :) He likes sucking on them

*He kicks his legs and flails his arms like crazy when he's excited, which he gets excited quite often.

*He loves nursing......I usually have to end the session b/c he would keep going and going and going like the energizer bunny if I didn't stop him.

*He is sleeping GREAT, getting up once per night, hallelujah (Spelling?) so I feel like a human being again.

*When he is held he wants to be facing out towards the world, so he can see everything.

*He loves the bumbo, bouncy chair, and the play mat.

*He's happy and content unless hungry or poopy.

*He's so much fun and I'm so grateful to have him in our family and to be his mom.

*He loves his sister, but whenever she gets around him his eyes get wide open and he kind quivers....

*He loves his dad's voice and gets so happy to see him.

Could have rode the tractor, but it was "too loud" for her ears :)

Got to pick veggies from their garden.....

Got exhausted from all the fun..... (I've never seen her just fall asleep on a couch before, with all the lights on, noise, tv, etc......she's used to a dark quiet bedroom)
Ethan got lots of love and attention and lots of being held, he loved it :)
Got to make rice crispies with aunt corina....

Our Family

I just got this pic off my mother-in-laws facebook pics from when they came to visit us in washington. I like the pic :) We've been in Colorado for 2 weeks and are headed back to Washington tomorrow night. I'll post pics of the trip when I get back!
