My Dad is renovating the bathrooms in their house right now. There is one bathtub in the upstairs bathroom, which is the 1st project he's working on. He has completely gutted it and is now starting to put in tile, got the sink and vanity the other day.....etc.....
So, the tub is still useable, but the tile is very delicate b/c of the renovation. He had a few tiles to put in still and so a week ago he asked us to be very careful while I gave the kids a bath. (Mind you some of the flooring is showing (wood) too, so splashing is NOT an option. So, the bath I gave the kids was SUPER quick and kind of stressed me out.
Then, he went to the mountains and I needed to give them their next bath. I thought it would be awful if I (or the kids) cracked a tile or got water on the floor while he was gone, and I figure that the chances were pretty high of that happening while he was gone and he would come home to a NOT nice surprise, so I came up with a solution........
Sink bath for both kids :)
(Breanna stayed in for over 20 minutes, in this cramped position and cried when I told her it was time to be done. She also found out that sitting like that for 20 minutes makes your legs sore!!)
