Sick Baby

I am TIRED. I am so tired of SOMETHING being wrong with Breanna. It has been since October that one thing after another has been wrong with her, and in between sick spells she'll push through another tooth which makes her miserable. Lately I about went insane as she endured the pain of pushing through 4 molars and 2 bottom teeth through all at once :(

Since October she's had:
*Head colds
*Double ear infection
*Teething (of course)
*Roseola
*Vomiting
*Diarrhea
*Another Round of fever, vomiting and diarrhea
*Constipation - extreme pain where she isn't eating/sleeping
*Thrush
*Diaper rash (too many times to count)
*Skin infection

*I can't remember if there was any more...??

I'm SPENT!!!! (as is she-poor baby girl.)

We have spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and her Birthday with a MISERABLE baby due to some sort of illness.

In the past month we have had 5 good days....5, the entire month. Those days were amazing. She was so happy, laughing, playing, smiling, and so fun to be with. The rest of the days have been sooooo tiring and hard. She is a very unhappy girl when she is sick and I am so drained.

For the past month she hasn't slept well, she gets up usually 3 times/night; it started with her throwing up one night, then 1 1/2 weeks of diarrhea and then a week of teething, 2 more days with fever, 1 day of throwing up and now I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS WRONG. Last night she was up from 2:45am to 4:10am, she screams and tenses up her body like she is in obvious pain, but from what? She is also inconsolable, will not take a bottle, let me rock/hold her, take her pacifier, etc.

I apologize for complaining so much, but I am sad. I am sad for my little baby who isn't feeling well. I'm sad for our lack of sleep. I'm sad for feeling frustrated with her when I know it's not her fault. I feel sad for losing my patience.

Rob and I decided after our 2nd Dr. appointment this week that we're switching to another pediatrician. I am very disgusted with the lack of help I have received from Breanna's pediatrician. I have been told time and time again that it's a virus and to wait and see in a week if it's not better. They have not run tests, they have not helped. I came into the 2nd appointment with hope that I would be taken seriously and that was not the case.

Anyways, that is my sob story. I know there are a lot of worse things in the world and that my problems are small.

Habit Tag

I had Rob help me with these:

1. I squeeze the toothpaste from the middle of the tube. (It drives him crazy).

2. If I wake up in the middle of the night I HAVE to find out what time it is. I like to know b/c then I get excited if I have like 3 more hours to sleep, or something.

3. I love eating desserts, candy, anything with sugar. (Starbursts :)

4. I check my email ALOT, but am not good at replying to emails.

5. I like doing things in even numbers, if possible. For example; on a stereo I like to have the volume at #4 or #6 rather than #5.

Well I'm sure I have tons more, I'll add more when I come up with them, but this is a good start.

FREE

My husband Rob created a blog and I think you all should check it out b/c I think it's pretty awesome!

http://roblog9ner.blogspot.com/

He was chatting with our friend Traci and were talking about something to do with coupons or free something or other...Rob told Traci that she should start a blog about everything that is free!

So, instead of letting the idea slide, Rob got working on his FREE BLOG! Anyone who went to BYU Hawaii and was married, or visited TVA, will understand the name of his blog (Freebie Bin:)

For those of you who didn't, the freebie bin was at married student housing office in Hawaii. People would bring items that they didn't sell or don't use anymore to the freebie bin and it was free game for anyone. Now, Mark, Traci's husband first taught my husband about this the first or second we moved into TVA. So.....Rob became a TVA stalker and would check it a few times a day and bring me home surprises.

Now this may sound weird, but we got a lot of cool stuff from there including a dresser, books, movies, microwave, etc. (All very important when we first moved in:)

Then, I became a freebie bin stalker when I got pregnant with Breanna and I got some awesome baby clothes for her!

Here's another confession....at the end of each semester we would both stalk the freebie bin when people would just toss their textbooks in there b/c the bookstore wouldn't buy them back or they were too short on time and were moving. We would check the ISBN #'s on the books and if they were worth $ then we would resell them on Amazon.com. Okay, I know this sounds crazy too but we made over $300 for 2 seperate semesters!! (This was needed money for poor students:)

Anywho, now you all know my confession; I am a tightwad who loves hunting for free/cheap deals. I really do love nice, new things, but who doesn't love a good deal?

Anyways, check out his blog!!

More Winter.....Yuck :(

Apparently Mr. Groundhog predicted more winter weather...boo hoo.

"Each Feb. 2, thousands of people descend on Punxsutawney, a town of about 6,100 people some 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, to celebrate what had essentially been a German superstition."

"The tradition is that if a hibernating animal sees a shadow on Feb. 2 — the Christian holiday of Candlemas — winter will last another six weeks. If no shadow is seen, legend says spring will come early."

Well, I'd like to speak with this groundhog and ask him what's his problem? Couldn't you just lie and give all of us in dreary wintery weather some hope for spring just around the corner????

Anywho, just thought you'd all like to know the news!
