Gecko Heaven

We still have 2 days left, this is the longest vacation I've ever been on and I'm loving it. So far we have accomplished quite alot on our vacation...including having lots of fun.

Breanna's FAVORITE part of the vacation is.....Geckos!


She has been intrigued and amazed by these little guys since her Grampy introduced her to them at their condo. All day and night she wants to look for geckos. We found the best place ever was the Turtle Bay Condo and the road going to the temple which had multiple geckos at each lamp post up and down the ENTIRE road! Wahoo!

At the condo at turtle bay there were about 5 geckos that would show up each night on the window....Breanna would look for them all day too! She's getting really good at saying gecko, you can actually understand it, unlike most of her other words.

Grampy and Grammy took Breanna gecko hunting while they were out here and she just was in the most fantastic mood if she is looking for them...even if she is beyond exhaustion from all the going, going, going we've been doing.

Her great-Grandma and great-Grandpa went searching for a t-shirt for her that had a gecko on it before they left Hawaii....they found one after a lot of looking. Well, she has worn it quite a bit since then, carries it around with her if she's not wearing it and sleeps with it in her crib at night.

I convinced her to go to bed tonight....with NO CRYING...because she got to take the gecko t-shirt to bed! so cute! (Thanks for the fantastic present G and G!)

Anyways, I will be posting more when I get back and download my pictures on my new camera my parents got me for an early b-day present, yipee!
