A Leprechaun visited the house

Breanna thought it was awesome, especially considering it left her a treat :)

Next year I think we'll do Leprechaun traps like we did growing up (thanks for reminding me of that de :)

Rob's B-day

We had a yummy breakfast, he got to be home with us 1/2 the day which was awesome, b/c it was a work day, we had lunch, went to church, made his favorite dinner, favorite cake (chocolate with white icing - breanna helped ice and sprinkle the cake :) and had a dance party.

I have to upload some videos of the dancing, it's awesome, kinda hard to see b/c it's in the dark, but so fun.

She sleeps!!!!!!!!!!

OH my WORD! Breanna is asleep right now! This chica has not taken a nap since DECEMBER! I put her down every day and she just plays, reads books, listens to music, never sleep. We've changed it to a "rest" b/c she will not sleep. I tried keeping her in there much longer, when she stopped napping in September. But, I decided a break is all I and she really needed, so rest time became what she had!

But, today, I listened on the monitor b/c she had been in her room for over an hour and I thought, hmmm what is she doing down there. Her music was blasting and the CD was skipping, so I thought, well might as well go tell she can be done with her rest. To my wonderful surprise, she's asleep! WOW!

Now if only Ethan were asleep too.......... :) But, he's just playing with toys by me right now, so he's pretty easy!

After she wakes up, we will be playing outside for the rest of the day b/c it is sunny and 60 degrees! WAHOO!

My Sweethearts

Just got these pics from Target. Love them :) Makes my children look so angelic....especially b/c they're sleeping right now!!! Don't worry grandparents, we ordered and will be sending some your way, so we can replace the last ones we had taken (when only Breanna was alive :)

Tumwater Falls

We went to Tumwater Falls last week and had fun walking/running up and down the trail with the kids. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed it with each other which made it even more fun :)

3 miles!!!

I know that might not sound like alot to you ladies who run a lot, but I ran 3 miles on the treadmill last night at the gym!

I've been running .25 miles then walking .25, then running, etc.... but I decided to see how long I could run for straight and I did 3 miles! The last 1/2 mile was hard. My back started cramping and hurting bad (I'm having issues with my back that are currently being worked on at a chiropractor). But I told myself 3 miles would be a really great accomplishment, especially b/c I've only been running 1 mile or 1.5 miles when I do the incremental running!

Wahoo! I'm sore today, but it feels good actually. So, now I just need to get a great playlist on the ipod, b/c when I had the musica blasting with fun songs it wasn't too bad. When I had to find a new, upbeat, fun song while jogging, that was hard...so I need a running playlist. I think I'll try to run again tomorrow morning when I go to the gym.

Wish me luck, but I'm not going to try to beat 3 miles, just continue the habit of running, maybe next week I'll try to beat it :)

3 year stats

For my records....at 3 years old Breanna is:

Height: 37.5 inches - 75th percentile
Weight: 31.9 pounds - 50th percentile

Failed the hearing and shapes test (b/c she wouldn't talk to the nurse :) But I have no concerns so they didn't pressure her for more testing.

*Loves Jumping all over the furniture, on people, all over
*Dr. said she must be quite "active" with all the bruises she has on her legs (mostly from all her jumping)
*Got 4 shots...yikes...but did very well recovering. Stickers, calling Grammy and a treat works wonders.
*Got to wear a hospital gown during the appointment...."so she wouldn't turn purple" (that's what she says when she's getting cold).
*Laid in my arms like a baby for the majority of the appointment, spoke about 2 words to anyone and acted like a dog most of the time.

Blossoms

One thing I love about Washington are the gorgeous blossoms we get in the spring time. Well, apparently spring has come b/c the trees are gorgeous lately.

Beautiful weather

We have been enjoying the gorgeous weather we've been having here in Olympia lately. We have had tons of sunshine and many play days outside....walks, playing at the park, etc.

I'm tired. I feel like I ran 4 miles....the amount of energy I had to use to keep my children somewhat well-behaved today at church was insane. And.......they were good, I can't imagine the feeling after a rough day at church with them. Now that Ethan's crawling church has just started to get hard. Fun times. Well, that plus the fact that Breanna transforms into a "dog" 90% of the time :)
