Rob

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband :) I love him for so many reasons and am so happy that I get to have so much fun being married to my best friend. He's such a great Dad and does so much for us! I KNOW that this year is going to be a fantastic one for him and us and just want him to know how much I love and appreciate him!

I thought I'd copy (kind of) something I saw on my friend marci's blog...(this way the entire post isn't so lovey dovey).

I love him even when he.....

*tells me he'll wash the dishes and he doesn't
*breathes really hard in my face while i'm trying to sleep (now, i wear earplugs:)
*takes longer showers and longer to get ready then i do
*goes somewhere and it takes 2 hours longer then it really should
*buys things for himself, things i know he wants, so it makes it REALLY hard to buy a birthday/christmas present
*opens presents BEFORE christmas/birthday
*goes in breanna's room and gets her out of her crib (after i just did the whole bedtime routine) to spend some time with her when he gets home late
*told me until i gave in that life would miraculously be better if he had a cell phone (i know, i'm cheap, and i thought we'd been sharing one for 3 years, why do we need a 2nd one :)

Wicked

Last week we were able to use our Christmas present that we got this year and go see Wicked! It is such a wonderful musical and I loved every minute of it. Rob and I got to see it one other time in Denver when my parents took us, needless to say, we loved it and have wanted to see it since :)

Thanks to my mom's BFF Kathy, we got to have a night out without Breanna, and we stayed at their house in Vancouver overnight, got to have a scrumptious dinner beforehand and tourist around Portland the day after!! (The play was in Portland).

Breanna was an angel, especially in the car, b/c we hooked up a dvd player and she got to watch "pooh" and nap on the way down and watch "fishy" (nemo) and "princess" (cinderella) on the way home.

We had great seats, not in the nose bleed section like we're used to, and got there with time enough to relax and be excited for the play. The next day we went to a museum in portland (OMSI) that was awesome, it had a Leonardo Davinci exhibit that was cool and then the museum was filled with hands of stuff that we explored all day. There was even a "science playground" for kids under 6 and it basically had so much it was like going to a separate children's museum. Fun times.

It was a PERFECT day in Portland and we went walking by the river afterwards and even walked over a bridge into Downtown Portland. I had lots of fun and enjoyed our mini vacation out of Lacey :)

You make me laugh :)

This is a post devoted to HILARIOUS pictures from my dear sister Michelle. I just found some CD's with pics of when she came out to visit me in 2004 in Hawaii for her spring break. Well, we decided after she got burned to a crisp from the sunshine to go exploring around the island and we did what we do best...had fun being nerds!

I love you Michelle!

(Here's some background information....on many vacations growing up Michelle and I have taken tons of Random pics with her doing funny stuff in the pics. Now I know that you might not think they're funny, but seeing these pics after 5 years made me laugh, laugh, laugh! Thanks Michelle for your sense of humor that I love).

A "model" pose on the crappiest car in the world that i made the worst decision ever in purchasing. (The door would actually fall when you opened it)...

Climbing up a HUGE hill (yeah, this idea didn't work that well...once again, my idea)...

I told her to lay in a bush in the fetal position...

Free Pancakes!!

National Pancake Day

February 24, 2009

From 7AM to 10PM go to IHOP tomorrow and enjoy a shortstack (3 pancakes) for free! They ask that you give a donation to Children's Miracle Network to support local Children's Hospitals.

I'm sure it'll be a SUPER long wait, but could be fun :)

Known also as Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras, National Pancake Day dates back several centuries to when the English prepped for fasting during Lent. Strict rules prohibited the eating of all dairy products during Lent, so pancakes were made to use up the supply of eggs, milk, butter and other dairy products…hence the name Pancake Tuesday, or Shrove Tuesday.

Which is it?

Well, we had our ultrasound today, and we're having a BOY!!! I'm so excited. This will be so much fun, I would have been thrilled with either one, but now I get to start planning, wahoo!!

The Bachelor

So...I always have wierd dreams, this is my warning, but last night was crazy/awkward and funny.

I dreamed that I was on "The Bachelor" and made it to the final 3 girls.

Okay....so it was the first time in "Bachelor history" that they ever had a MARRIED, PREGNANT woman on the show. But, I made it to the final 3 and then got dumped.

Then, the producers of the show thought that they would add a "twist". Obviously they didn't think that me being on the show was awkward enough...they decided for the first time ever, they were going to keep me on the show even though I was already rejected.

So apparently in my dream I was they girl that they decided to humiliate on the show this season, b/c there is always at least one girl who makes a mess of herself either yelling, crying, slightly stalking or something like that on the Bachelor.

So the awkward pregnant lady stayed on the show, walking around the house, with no purpose. I also got to join the final 2 girls on their individual dates with the Bachelor. It was so hilarious and awkward in my dream b/c I would just sit there on the dates and make comments like, "I never knew you guys had such a connection" (Mind you this is while they're kissing). I sulked around the rest of the show, with nothing too interesting except for embarrassment and awkwardness b/c the Bachelor had NOT chosen me and I was still there.......

That's all I can remember about my dream. When I woke up I was laughing and told Rob about it and told him I was going to post it on my blog, he told me that might not be a good idea, but what the heck, I thought it was hilarious!
